Metlifecare – Pinesong
Soil & Rock Consultants were engaged to undertake a geotechnical site investigation for a slip. The scope of our report encompassed an assessment of the land stability in the area.
The principal objectives of the investigation were to develop an appropriate geotechnical model of the site so that recommendations with regard to land stability and slip remediation design could be made to support a Building Consent application to Council.
Glen Esk Stream
Soil & Rock Consultants were engaged by Auckland Council to assess the stability of the banks and provide an appropriate hydrogeological model of the site to assess runoff, flooding and potential scouring of the proposed re-contoured slopes and gullies. The assessment involved a desktop study encompassing available data analysis and walkover inspections of the terrain.
Freyburg Square Redevelopment - CBD
A very challenging project in the city centre. The site was heavily congested with live services of all types and the subgrade varied from stiff natural soils to highly variable non-engineered fill of several metres depth. Close inspection of the foundation subgrades and constant liaison with the Project Managers and Contractor were required.
Fred Taylor Drive, Westgate
Soil & Rock Consultants were engaged to undertake a geotechnical site investigation for the proposed commercial subdivision and roadway construction at Area 1 & Area 2. The principal objectives of the investigation were to develop an appropriate geotechnical model of the site so that recommendations with regard to land stability, earthworks, roading and retaining wall design could be made and geotechnical constraints to the proposed development identified.
Woolworths Supermarkets
Soil & Rock Consultants was engaged to undertake a series of geotechnical assessments for proposed Woolworths Supermarkets at various New Zealand locations.
Our geotechnical reports encompassed a series of geotechnical solutions which were unique to each site such as assessments of potential groundwater inflow in the excavations, soil contamination assessments, geotechnical investigations, desktop studies, earthworks and construction monitoring.
